Where can I have my ceremony? The beauty of using a civil celebrant to conduct your ceremony is that you can choose the venue that you want. So you can coduct your ceremony anywhere that you and your celebrant agree on. Imagine it On the Beach; In the Park; On a Hotair Balloon or even in your loungeroom.
What time can my ceremony be performed? Your ceremony can be held at any time of the day or night as long as you and your celebrant have agreed on that time and date. Imagine a Ceremony at Sunrise or at Twilight with thousands of fairy lights.
How long will the ceremony take? The average length for a ceremony is about 15 to 20 minutes; however you decide the length of your ceremony. I will tailor a ceremony to meet your requirements, short and sweet or longer and more intricate, it's totally up to you. And there is no time limit on how long I will be with you on the day... As long as you need me, I will be there.
When do I need to make a booking? The sooner you finalise your booking the greater chance that I will be available to perform your ceremony on your chosen date. I currently have bookings up to 18 months in advance.
Are children welcome at the ceremony? Of course they are; it's your ceremony after all. But remember that it is totally up to you. If you do have children present I strongly reccommend, that all children be supervised through out the ceremony as this helps to minimise disruptions and noise. This will also ensure that all of your guests have the opportunity to hear and enjoy the ceremony.
How much will my ceremony cost? The cost of a Celebrant varies between $400 and $700 for a wedding ceremony and less for other types. Even a basic 8 minute wedding ceremony at the Registry of Births, Deaths & Marriages costs $275. Remember when you are comparing services that ?Price is what you pay. Value is what you get'. You must feel comfortable with the person you choose and make sure that they are capable of preparing and delivering the type of ceremony you imagine.
