My name is Elisha Salkeld and I am an Authorised Marriage and Civil Celebrant, offering my services and weddings and functions on the Gold Coast, Tweed Heads, Coolangatta, Mt Tamborine, Springbrook, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Byron Bay and right down to Coffs Coast.
My goal as a Marriage & Civil celebrant is to create every ceremony as unique and make it so that is Inspired to suit each individual client. I will take keen interest in getting to know you personally first and then I will work hard to ensure that your wedding day is tailor made to exactly what you want. The options are endless when it comes to your ceremony... It could be:
- Casual or Formal
- Themed or Dress-up
- Intimate or Embellished
- Sunrise or Sunset
- Night or Day
The next question is... Have you decided on a date and venue?
If so, let me know and I can check my availability, if not I am happy to give you prices and information until you find a date. Usually, you will need to book me at least 6-12 months in advance. However if your wedding is sooner than this then try your luck, contact me, and I may be free.
What should you expect?
Our first meeting is a casual chat about your wedding details. We talk about what's important to you and what you would like to include. You will walk away with an information package from me with lots of useful suggestions, advice and homework (don't worry it's fun homework).
Our second meeting involves completing the required legal paperwork.This must be finalised at least one month and a day before your wedding ceremony. We discuss more specific ideas regarding what you would like and put your personalised ceremony together.
From there, we generally communicate via phone and email to perfect your wedding ceremony. I am not 100% happy until you are!
Rehearsals are valuable so I recommend we conduct a rehearsal (or a logistical catch up as I like to call it) usually 1-2 weeks before your wedding this can be done in my beautiful garden by the pool or at your venue.
